When booking a consultation with Little Dream boats, the Client agrees to these Terms of Service:

"Little Dream Boats" is the trading name of Little Dream Boats Limited. In these Terms of Service 'we', 'us' and 'our' refers to "Little Dream Boats".

“Client” means any person engaging Little Dream Boats for their services as discussed in these Terms of Service.

General

The Client agrees to follow safe sleep practices in line with SIDS recommendations.
The Client understands the safety guidelines on co-sleeping.
The Client will disclose any medical conditions that their child has to Little Dream Boats
The Client will not disclose any of the information they receive from Little Dream Boats to a third party, without Little Dream Boats's prior permission.
The customised sleep plan received is meant for your child only and should not be shared with any third parties.
You acknowledge that the information provided is only suitable for your child.
Payment is due before sleep plan is prepared and sleep plan will not be written unless payment is received
Any changes to your child’s sleeping and eating routine are implemented by you at your own responsibility and advice given by the sleep consultant at Little Dream Boats should never be a substitute for seeking medical advice from a qualified health professional where necessary.
At all times are you responsible for your own physical and mental health and well-being and that of any minor for whom you act as a legal guardian.

Client Acknowledgement

The information provided in the sleep intake questionnaire is as accurate as possible the Client’s knowledge.
If the Client’s child has a medical condition, my health care provider’s approval has been sought before commencing a sleep plan.
The Client acknowledges it is the Client’s responsibility to rule out any possible medical causes of sleep problems of their child (such as sleep apnea) as the child who has underlying medical causes of sleep problems may not be suitable to embark on a sleep plan.
The Client acknowledges it is the Client’s responsibility to ensure their child is gaining weight accordingly, thriving and otherwise well before embarking on a sleep plan.
The Client acknowledges that Little Dream Boats is not able to give medical advice and any questions or concerns that I have regarding my child’s health will be under my health practitioners’ care. A sleep plan by Little Dream Boats is not intended to replace or substitute medical advice.
The Client acknowledges that Little Dream Boats will not be responsible nor liable in any event of injury or adverse events occurring while undertaking a sleep plan. The client is responsible for the safety and health of their child at all times.

Payment

Full payment for all packages and follow-up support is required prior to consultation starting. Once payment is received in full the Client will receive acknowledgment of payment by Little Dream Boats. Phone consultations will be confirmed once payment has been made.
Package prices include GST.
Little Dream Boats reserve the right to alter prices at any time for any reason.
A sleep plan will not be issued or a consultation will not take place with outstanding invoices remaining. Little Dream Boats reserves the right to cancel a consultation if there is an outstanding balance owing at the time of the scheduled consultation.
Any outstanding debt to Little Dream Boats will be referred to debt collection agencies.
Payment is to be made in full via the website, using a secure payment system.

Cancellations

Cancellations made more than 5 working days prior to a consultation will receive a full refund, less transaction fees.
Cancellations made less than 5 working days prior to a consultation will receive a 50% refund, less transaction fees.
Cancellations within 48 hours of the proposed consultation endures no refund for change of mind. In the occurrence of sickness or critical events, Little Dream Boats can reschedule the consultation and cater accordingly.
Once the sleep plan has been received or a consultation has taken place, there will be no refund offered for change of mind.
If a support package is postponed for reasons agreed upon by the Client and Little Dream Boats they forfeit the eligibility for a refund as above, from the rescheduled support start date (unless medically unwell).
If a support package is canceled due to medical reasons and the Client has received the sleep plan they will be refunded 50% of the package cost.

Little Dream Boats reserves the right to cancel any package prior to the commencement of the home or phone consultation if they deem the package inappropriate for the Client. An alternative package may be suggested and the price difference refunded or the full amount refunded if Little Dream Boats or the Client chooses to forfeit the service engaged.

Conditions of a Sleep Plan

Individual results may vary and results depend on many matters; including but not limited to, consistency, commitment, personal matters, approach to technique, technique or method, child’s needs, child’s age, severity of situation, following the plan correctly, communication to Little Dream Boats and the parents’ desire for change.
A refund is not offered in the event of the client feeling dissatisfied and the client understands that by embarking the plan that this is a risk taken.
Most clients will see results within 10-14 days.
Little Dream Boats is obligated to keep up to date with current information, research and knowledge surrounding child’s sleep.

I understand that my customised sleep plan is meant for my child and I only, and should not be shared with a third party. I acknowledge the information might not be suitable for another child.

Any changes I make to my children’s sleeping or eating arrangements are my decision and Little Dream Boats will only make suggestions for change, of which I am responsible for choosing to implement.

It is my responsibility to contact Little Dream Boats for my follow up and send the sleep log information through to be assessed for feedback as frequently as suggested.

Upon purchase of a sleep plan I am agreeing to these terms and conditions and privacy policy as outlined.

In-Home Support

For clients that are considering booking in-home support or have booked in-support, Holly will contact you via phone for a 15 minute consultation at the time you have booked in for.
During this consult you will make a plan with Holly for when the in-home support will take place. Holly is typically available to attend the home consult within 1-3 weeks of the 15 minute consult, subject to availability.
The Client is responsible for informing Holly who will be in the home during the in-home support and their relationship to the Client. If Holly arrives at the home and does not feel it is appropriate or safe to enter the home, the in-home consultation will be rescheduled if Holly deems it safe to do so.
At any time during the in-home consultation Holly doesn't feel it is appropriate to stay due to safety concerns; the in-home consultation will be concluded and rescheduling of the remaining in-home consultation will not be provided.
Travel costs are included in the package price (travel within 30 kilometres of Paraparaumu). If the in-home consultation is to take place at an address outside of travel area there will be an additional fee of 79c per kilometre. This will be charged and invoiced prior to the in-home consultation. Payment is to be made in full prior to the commencement of the package.

Disclaimer

Little Dream Boats adhere to and follow all of the American Academy of Pediatrics safe sleeping guidelines.
Little Dream Boats does not offer any medical advice, services or treatment to any client. If you have concerns relating to a medical or nutritional issue we urge you to contact your GP or pediatrician immediately.
Changes to your baby's sleep or eating arrangements that may be suggested are at your discretion, of which you are responsible for choosing to implement.
The information provided on this website or by Little Dream Boats is not intended nor is implied to be a substitute for professional medical advice. The Client must always seek the advice of a GP or other qualified healthcare provider with any questions regarding a medical condition or the health and welfare of their baby, toddler or child.
Little Dream Boats will use all reasonable efforts to include up-to-date and accurate information during consultations and on this website, but makes no representations, warranties or completeness of the information provided.
Little Dream Boats shall not be liable for any loss or damages (including direct or indirect loss, or special or consequential loss) resulting from the Client's access to, or inability to access, this website, or from the Client's reliance on any information provided on this website or by the consultant.
This website or Little Dream Boats may provide links or references to other sites, but Little Dream Boats will have no responsibility for the content of such other sites or references and shall not be liable for any damages or injury arising from their content. Any links to other sites or references are provided as merely a convenience to the users and clients.

Little Dream Boats owns all copyright in and to the content on this website and the materials, texts, advice, guidance, manuals, and technical information provided to you. The Client may download content only for their personal use for non-commercial purposes, but no modification or further reproduction of the content is permitted. The content may otherwise not be copied or used in any way without express written permission of Little Dream Boats or the author of any particular submission.

All materials are provided for non-commercial personal use only. The Client agrees that they will not copy, distribute or adapt the content for any other use, or otherwise compete Little Dream Boats.

Little Dream Boats maintains this site for your personal information, education and communication. Please feel free to browse the site. The Client and any visitor to this website may download material displayed on the website for personal, non-commercial use, provided the Client also retains all copyright and other proprietary notices contained on the materials. You may not for any reason, however, distribute, modify, duplicate, transmit, reuse, repost, or use the content of the site for public or commercial purposes, including the text, images, audio, and video without Little Dream Boats written permission.

Confidentiality and Privacy Policy

I acknowledge that Little Dream Boats will uphold my case in confidentiality and discretion.

I confirm that I will not share my child’s sleep plan or its content with any third party without Little Dream Boats permission to do so. By sharing the plan, it may not be in the third party’s best interest for the child as these plans are customised to each child’s needs.

Information we collect

Little Dream Boats will collect typical personal information including name, address, phone number, email address.
Little Dream Boats will use your personal information to create an online registration for you, to record and process your package for general communication. Little Dream Boats does not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

Emailing tools

Little Dream Boats will communicate with you by email and may send you Newsletters and other marketing information.

Control of your online credentials

If you have registered online, you are responsible for all actions taken with your username, email address and password. If you choose to share your user name, email address and password or your information with third parties, you are responsible for all actions taken with this information and therefore you should review that third party's privacy policy.

Membership removal

If you wish to have your registration removed from our directory for any reason, simply send us an email requesting to be removed

Severability

If any provision of this Privacy Policy is held to be invalid, void, unenforceable or illegal for any reason, such provision shall be deemed to be severed from this Privacy Policy and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force.

Access and removal of information

You have the right to access, change and delete personal information that Little Dream Boats holds about you. You can exercise this right at any time by emailing Holly@littledreamboats.co.nz
